How are your lashes made, and what are your mink false eyelashes made of?

LANADE lashes a put together by hand.  They are made of mink fur.  The mink is collected in a cruelty free manor.

 

Do the lashes come in different sizes to fit different eye shapes?

Our mink lashes come in one standard eye length.  You can trim them to fit  your eyes.  It's recommended you cut them from the outer side of the lash, not the part that adheres to the inner eye area.

How many times can you wear a pair of LANADE mink lashes?

All of our eyelashes are carefully handcrafted and made to last through multiple wears. With proper care, each pair can be worn as many as 25 -30 times. When removing, gently remove the glue from the lashes and place them back in their tray to maintain the shape, and protect them from dust and bacteria.

 

How do I care for my mink lashes?

Handle them with care.  These are not hard plastic lashes purchased from a drug store.  Old glue and old makeup can build up on the lash band and mink hairs, making your lashes look worn out. Follow these steps to provide the proper care for your lashes:

After removing your lashes, getting rid of the old glue is important. Hold the lash by the base and GENTLY peel the glue off using  your fingers or a pair of tweezers. Do not pull on the mink hairs as they may fall out of the band. Keep your lashes clean by storing them in their original box. Be gentle, they aren't as sturdy as synthetic lashes, but can last 25-30 wears if you are gentle.  You can gently brush your lashes with the brush provided if you purchase a lash kit.

Can I use water or mascara on my mink false lashes?

We recommend you do not use mascara, in order to lengthen the time the lashes can be reused.  Order a fuller lash if you want a darker look.  Also, do not wet them with any liquids, including water.

Does eyelash glue come with my purchase?

Nope. Many of us at LANADE use Duo® glue in black.  Using the black avoids the appearance of white glue against the black lashes when it dries.  You may want to check the glue ingredients and try different glues to make sure you are not allergic.

Will the mink false eyelashes harm my own lashes?

It depends, but generally no.  With the proper lash glue, and the gentle removal of the glue, there should be little to no harm done to your real lashes. If you use too much glue, you can pull out a couple of real lashes -- it is not necessary to apply a lot of glue.  Use a small layer on each false lash.

What ingredients do you use in your cosmetics?

We provide a list of ingredients/materials on every product page.  The majority of our ingredients are natural, except we do use petroleum jelly for some balm lip glosses, as many of our testers and customers prefer the petroleum jelly version. *Please check the ingredients list to make sure you have no allergies.  Please contact us if you have additional questions about the ingredients listed.

*SPECIAL NOTE RE MINK LASHES:  Our lashes are gently adhered on to the lash tray using a small amount of Latex based glue. This glue can be removed prior to use.  Remove gently.

What is LANADE's return/exchange policy?

As a result of health and hygiene issues, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS.  Please choose wisely.  Once your package has been received by the post office we are not liable for any lost or damaged packages.  We are also not liable for any shipping addresses that have been entered incorrectly by the customer.  We are not responsible if the postal service loses or damages your package.

 

Do you ship your products internationally?

Yep, we ship internationally wherever the United States Postal Service (USPS) delivers.  International orders are shipped via United States Postal Service First Class Mail. Delivery time depends on the selected country and its customs. Deliveries generally take between 7-40 business days, although the USPS does not guarantee delivery dates or times.
